✨πŸ‘‘ Gold Robes, Not Dirty Robes: Confess Mo Na Yan, Bes Part 2 πŸ‘‘✨

(Sexual Sins to Confess Devotional for Gen Z Manila)

πŸ“– Scripture Reading

Rev 19:7–8 (ESV):
“Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure—for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.”

Deu 32:4 (ESV):
“The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.”

Exo 28:39 (ESV):
“You shall weave the coat in checker work of fine linen, and you shall make a turban of fine linen, and you shall make a sash embroidered with needlework.”

πŸ’” The Problem: Dirty Robes of Sexual Sin

Let’s be real, bes. Ang daming tukso sa paligid—porn, hookups, lustful DMs, and secret habits na alam mong hindi aligned sa pagiging bride of Christ. Ang tawag ni Rev 19 dito? “immorality that corrupts the earth.”

Sexual sin feels good for a moment, pero it stains our robes. Hindi ito joke—Paul even says sa Rom 2:5 na kapag hindi tayo nagrerepent, we’re just “storing up wrath” for ourselves.

πŸ‘‘ The Hope: God’s Justice and Mercy

Pero hindi ito “end game” ng kwento. Moses sings sa Deu 32:4 that God is “The Rock”—perfect in justice, faithful, upright. Meaning, kahit messed up tayo, God judges fairly AND gives grace when we repent.

And the best part? Like the priests in Exo 28 na sinuotan ng fine linen garments, tayo rin ay binibigyan ng new robes—bright and pure. Hindi ito self-made; it was granted her (Rev 19:8). That’s God’s gift through Jesus.

πŸ•Š️ The Call: Confess Mo Na Yan, Bes!

  1. Expose the stains. Name your sexual sins before God. Wag nang i-deny. Lust, porn, premarital sex, secret thoughts—confess it.

  2. Change the robes. Ask Jesus to clothe you in fine linen—righteousness that He provides.

  3. Walk pure. Like the bride preparing for her groom, live holy and ready for the Lamb’s wedding banquet.

πŸ™ Reflection & Prayer

Lord, I confess my sexual sins. Wash me clean. Strip away my dirty robes and clothe me with Your righteousness. Make me ready as Your bride, holy and pure. Amen.”

🌟 Final Reminder for Gen Z Manila

Have a meaningful fast.

May you be sealed in the Book of Life.
